Who We Are

Team FTC Kids is Gainesville’s new youth distance running program, launching Fall 2025!

Led by Coach Matt, our club welcomes kids from 2nd–8th grade who want to stay active, make friends, and grow in a fun, inclusive environment. No racing experience required!



What We Offer

  • Structured group practices by skill level
  • 1, 2, or 3-day weekly options to fit your schedule
  • A community-focused atmosphere

Fall Cross Country Races
Practice on natural surfaces and learn pacing and endurance

Spring Middle Distance Track Meets
Learn the basics of speed, strategy, and technique

Year-Round Road Races
Community 5Ks and fun runs that build confidence

Optional comprehensive coaching with personalized data analysis and feedback

🛈 Note: Races are optional and may have separate entry fees, depending on the event.
